Axel...a couple of weeks ago I was at my step-daughter's pre-wedding party here in CT and her best friend Emma went to college in PA. Some how we got on the subject of food and of the famous pork roll. She said there was a place there that was only open from 7-2 PM but it was packed and you had to wait in line. She said they also had it with egg on the roll as well. I told her about you guys raving about it on this forum. Just thought it was funny, small world...

Because it is a Concern:(

A concern to who? Have any team owners come on here and said they won't go to Chemung because they are afraid of not getting paid? I don't think so. Maybe because the purse is not that great but thats a different story.

Chemung had a problem with a non NASCAR Dirt track car race months ago, why bring that up now with a totally non related NASCAR Tour race.

because Jaws, I'm starting to hear stories too. I live far enough away that if stories are getting to me, I have to believe there might be some merit to them. I was told NASCAR does not get the money up front, but in this case have asked for it. if true, I applaud NASCAR for protecting it's car owners. let's face it, if they are asking, they must be concerned too.

Rain Postpones Whelen Modified Tour's Trip To Chemung

CHEMUNG, N.Y. – Due to a forecast for heavy rain Friday and Saturday, NASCAR and Chemung Speedrome officials have decided to postpone Saturday night’s NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Chemung 120.

A makeup date for the event will be announced at a later date.

With this postponement, up next for the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour will be the Budweiser 150 at Thompson International Speedway on Thursday, Sept. 3. The second of three trips for the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour to Thompson was originally scheduled for Aug. 13, but was moved because of weather.
