I was reading a recent issue of AARN, in the quick notes news briefs section towards the back, they referenced Riverside Park's team racing competition. I remember being at one of those races and the announcer and drivers really seemed to be into the program at least more so then other nights of competition. I believe they had teams of 3 or 4 drivers one member would compete in each division. The teams avg finishes would be compared against another team or multiple teams over the course of a night of racing to determine the winner. What I dont remember was what they competed for(extra cash, pride), how the teams were established, how often they did this type of program? and if, as I recall, this added significantly to the show, why hasnt this been duplicated elsewhere?
