It would be nice if they could let us make up the added show we were supposed to have on AUg 29 on this coming Saturday or even Sunday. We asked for so long to get the date for this past weekend, only to have it washed away. It's going to really suck if we only get 6 or 7 shows this year while everyone else had 12 or more.
Like I said, it sure would be nice...:help:

Plus the weather looks great this weekend.

Thats the curse of a short schedule, could have rain every week you are scheduled and sun on your weeks off.

definatly need that show back...but once again i cant belie ve an hour or less after the race was called...no more rain...at aqbout 4pm we has a 5 minute mist...but every time it rains they call too early...

i was in northville and it was crappy till 1:30 and at 4 it rained for another 30 minutes. hard call to make when weather was like that (ocean storm from the east)

This week you cannot blame them for canceling the entire region was supposed to get a deluge and rain all day. Had everyone been there and it poured all day everyone would be pissing and moaning they did not cancel it earlier

Also based on business, with the weather report calling for lots of rain and T-storms all weekend with clearing here or there, they made the right choice! The stand would have been empty, I applaud the Riverhead Heads for making a lot of races in which the weather looks extremely bad, but we get the show in! If you look at tracks in the Northeast region, most of them have double or triple rain outs we have, every year!! :applause:

ok Pete, I agree on calling the show last Saturday but we have only run 6 shows up to now. We're having a championship decided by weather. We could be fit in somewhere. How long does it take to run a LM feature anyway?

Well I hope time isn't the factor. If they really wanted, they could probably fit in every division they have with an enduro or two. lol

Frankly, I don't know why the Late Models are the black sheep. I understood the decision to leave them off the schedule after last season which was not so many cars, and quite a bit of wrecking. But so far this year has been pretty great racing. To the point where I wanted to go to the Wall race and now I'd like to go to the NELMA race. And I haven't been to any other race track since White Lake in 1998, when I was 11. :lol:

I love how every sunday after a saturday rainout has been beautiful...anyone ever consider sundays...once again...rain gets the best
