Have you tried Craigslist? I know someone who just picked up a car for $200. All it needed was a tranny.

Critter, if you are out of a car and truck altogether, call me, I have a GMC S15 that just needs the trans put in............Don't wait until you only have a day or two to work on it, you can have it as long as I know you want it.

ps....I have someone who is looking to buy this truck, but I'm quite certain he would understand this circumstance and even support it!

Critter dont knock it until you try it! The truck that is. A tranny can be put in, in less the 2 hours with 2 people. Joe's not making you commit to buying the thing....just put the tranny in and run it for the day. At least you'll get your racing fix in. Got a great chance of getting a Top 10 or even 5 too :wave: I'd tell you to bring it to the track and we'd get it in there but I'll be late as it is anyway. Who knows you may like it more then you think! :lol:
