If it is true that Jimmy has moved on to another team. I wonder if he used the family business as an excuse to get out of the 12 to go to the 14. Or maybe Jimmy just wanted to race the tour shows on the weekends and focus on the family busines during the week, but the 12 team wanted him to do everything or nothing. Who cares what the reason is why he left. I'm not a big Jimmy Blewett fan but he is good for the tour.

I'd be surprised a troyer, Dick has been a loyal and devoted Race Works Chassis guy. I don't think Jimmy used the family business as an excuse. The 14 team runs a limited schedule, which would keep him home more often. good luck to everyone involved

I would be surprised too but if my memory is correct, I recall they ran both a Flemke and a Troyer chassis back in the mid 80's.

I got the situation emailed to me. I stand corrected. They did run a troyer in the mid 80's Tour man. It was when there a deal with George Ross(I think that was the his name) It was the era of the 14/28.

I Think they ran the 28 at N.E.S. weekly for a while. l remember it at Martinsville one year too. I guess Barney and Jimmy will run the Troyer in the open comp. Mod shows at Wall...lots of cash available at the end of October in the Twin 66 lap Comerford memorial.
