By my calculations, the tie for 2nd is broken by Dave Brigati have 3 second place finishes to Chuck Steuer's 2 second place finishes, since each had 1 victory.

Again, big thanks to Leah for all she did to see the driver's get something, and I'm sure she will let everyone know what that breaks down as as soon as she knows. Great job, young lady!:applause::applause::applause:

Congratulations to John and the crew for your 2009 Modified championship. I know there are a few out here on the jam who have been rather outspoken as to how they feel, but I think they forget that going into last weeks race, you were third in points. It's a quite an accomplishment to be able to fight your way back to the top and take the title. Knowing you as I do, I also know you would have raced it out rather have mother nature end the season, but it is what it is. You ran every night as hard as you could and you and your team were rewarded for it.

Congratulations to John Fortin and his entire team and sponsors. As a fan I wanted to see a great race to the championship, but they are true champions.

My dad and me would just like to thanks everyone for the congrats. Its was an awsome 2009 season. We would like to say thanks to all of our crew guys, Steve H, Greg, Sean, Jay, Butch, Steve M, Bryan, Andrew, John, Vinny, Jason, Jeff and there families, without you guys none of this would have been made possible. Also a big thanks to our sponser SGS Stoneworks, Traingle pub, CPM reality, John's fuel oil, G&R's deli and maximum auto. And of course thanks to all of our fans.

I think its real weak that the race won't be made up. Its the closest points race in years and rain crowns the champ! 84 ur real lucky it rained!!


Although i agree that if it didn't rain it might have been different... I would like to say congrats to the 84 team for the championship the 98x and the 11x for giving there all and making it an awesome season of racing the 99x for being the man and the rest of the field for having some great races
