During practice Donny Lia's car #4 caught on fire so we had a break in practice. Driver is OK I will go for a walk to check the car. They had difficulty getting the fire out so people were using sweat shirts. NASCAR will post pictures. I will take a walk to see the car

Steve Park is shaking out the #7NY car for Ryan Newman today. Currently on the track Reggie and Steve Park are bump drafting on the track during practice.

The #4 car has been pushed back to the hauler. The crew, Pit wagon and tires have also headed that way. Hopefully they have a backup car

Eddie MacDonald is scheduled to drive the No. 70 of Andy Seuss on Saturday. Andy Seuss is here today to shake down the car and assist the crew with setup. Tomorrow night Seuss will head south. He will head back to Caraway to compete in the Southern Modified Tour race on Saturday night.

I just go the practice times. Fastest for the NWMT was TC Time - 29.220 for a speed of 130.349. Second fastest was James Civali for a time of 29.290 for a time of 130.036. I will put together a list of everyone and post shortly.

Right now the fastest time for the NASCAR Camping World Series East is Eddie MacDonald with a time of 29.972. Qualifying is not yet complete a few cars left to take time for NASCAR Camping World Series East.

Donny Lia will not be qualifying today. His team is working to find a replacement car for Saturday's race. Chuck Hossfeld is replacing the rear end in his car.

In the media center the Speed51 team was just talking about Doug Coby and the #19 car. Coby damaged the car during the second lap of qualifying so the car was place on a rollback.
