View Full Version : NASCAR Camping World Series East Race
The rain has stopped and rainbows are over the track as the jet dryers dry the track to prepare for the 125 lap CMSE race. Drivers are strapping into their cars to get on to the track before we loose the light(there are no lightsat NHMS).
I will not do detailed updates but higlights of the race for fans.
Because of race conditions and the hour the race has been cut to 100 laps.
The following cars will go to the rear of the pack for the start of the race :
- #39 Dustin Delaney -->Transmission
- # 36 Corey LaJoie and #96 Mike Johnson -->Engine
- # 12 Jesus Hernandez and #37 for Alex Kennedy --> made unapproved changes
During the parade laps one car spun I believe that it was car #10 for Matt Kurzejewski.
Green Flag for the CWSE 100 lap race here at Loudon, NH
Eddie MacDonald took the lead on the start of the race.
Second is Brett Moffitt.

Caurion 1 - Lap 14 car #81 Jason Holehouse spun in turn 3
Just before the caution car #9 for Kevin Swindell passed David Mayhew for fifth spot
Several cars have pitted
Leader Eddie MacDonald, David Mayhew and Brett Moffitt did not pit

David Mayhew passes Eddie MacDonald for the lead on the restart
Lap 30 - Top 5 cars are David Mayhew, Eddie MacDonald, Matt Kobyluck, Brett Moffitt, Derek Ramstrom
Caution 2 - Car #16 for Jonathan Smith spun bringing out the caution
During caution front runner Eddie MacDonald has pitted
The race leader David Mayhew did not pit
On the restart Matt Kobyluck will be on the outside of the front row next to leader David Mayhew
Going green on lap 35
On the restart David Mayhew maintained his lead over Kobyluck
Lap 40 -- top five cars David Mayhew, Matt Kobyluck, Kevin Swindell, Max Gresham, Patrick Long
The sun is setting fast behind the bleachers, even though the sky is clear.
Caution 3 - Lap 57 as Scott Bouley(26) hit the second turn wall
Pit road is open and the leader David Mayhew has pitted for right side tires and back out.
Matt Kobyluck inherits the lead
Going green on lap 46
Top 5 cars on the restart - Matt Kobyluck, Kevin Swindell, Max Gresham, Patrick Long, Jeff Anton
Lap 50 - Matt Kobyluck, Max Gresham, Kevin Swindell, Patrick Long, Eddie MacDonald
Lap 53 - Matt Kobyluck, Kevin Swindell, Max Gresham, Patrick Long, Eddie MacDonald
Lap 60 - Matt Kobyluck, Kevin Swindell, Max Gresham, Patrick Long, Eddie MacDonald
Steve Park is in 15th spot
Corey LaJoie is in 20th
The top three cars are running close on the track
Lap 70 - Top 5 cars are Matt Kobyluck, Kevin Swindell, Max Gresham, Patrick Long, Eddie MacDonald
Leaders have caught up with lapped traffic .
Caution on lap 72 for debris on the back stretch as the leaders were slicing and dicing to get through the lapped cars.
A number of cars are pitting but the leaders have made the decision to stay out on the track.
Lap 76 - Green flag. It is going to be a shoot out
On the restart several cars spun bringing out another caution included were Steve Park, Corey Lajoie, Brad Leighton, Alex Kennedy ...
Looks like Mike Johnson hit the rear of Jesus Hernandez as the pack came around turn four to start the race.
Corey LaJoie's car is being taken off the track on the back of a tow truck.
Leaders were in front of the incident with the mayhem started mid-pack
Lap 81 restart and it is looking like twilight outside.
Hopefully a sprint for the end

On the restart the lead cars were three wide
When the cars cross the start-finish wide Kevin Swindell had the lead with eddie MacDonald all over his back bumper
Lap 85 - Top 5 cars are Kevin Swindell, Eddie MacDonald, Brett Moffitt, Patrick Long, Matt Kobyluck
Caution - Lap 86 as two cars tangle in between turn one and two and hit the wall. Cars have a lot of damage - Cars involved were 31 of Eric Curran and car #17 for Jason Patison. Both cars towed. Drivers OK out of cars
On the restart the top 5 cars will be Kevin Swindell, Eddie MacDonald, Brett Moffitt, Patrick Long, Matt Kobyluck
Lap 92 - Green Flag
Double file restart
Kevin Swindell on inside - Eddie MacDonald on the outside
Joey Polewarczyk, Jr hit the wall just after turn one on the restart.
David Mayhew in car #19 slowed on the restart and as Polewarczyk went to go around him contact was made.
On the restart Eddie MacDonald took the lead from Kevin Swindell so when we go green he will restart in the front.
The sun is setting. It is dark as we wait to finish the race.
There will be one attempt for a green, white, checker finish when we go green on lap 97. It is dark ouside and drivers may have tinited faceshields since the sun was out when the race started.
Lap 98 - green flag
On the restart Kevin Swindell had issues and dropped way back to fifth
