I've been trying to make it over to Mahoning Valley Speedway to see some racing for the last three years, but weather and other circumstances have not permitted me from getting there yet.

I'm considering attending the October 3rd race, but wanted to know generally what time the racing concludes for the Saturday night races? Are the Modified Poker Series races usually the last features run, or does it vary? Just wondering because I live over two hours away and have to be somewhere by 9am on Sunday.

Perhaps the 3rd isn't my best bet. I see the 31st race is in the afternoon, or if the weather once again doesn't cooperate then I guess I might have to wait until 2010.

Thanks for any feedback!

AJC24, that would be a great night to go. kinserfan's time may be a bit off though, as they are running Hand 3 AND 4 that night for the Modifieds. And I doubt they will run 2 modified features last. They will probably split them up.

RG is right to and so is Kinser.....the last 67? or so laps of the makeup 100 lap race will be the first or qualifing for the second race. either way the makeup race will be the first race before any heats. And MVS alternates what classes run in any order every week mods arent always last they may run a class after the 100 lapper. I have run many times After a 100 lap race

On that night with the make-up and then heats/consi/100-laps the regular 100 lap race will probaly be the last race so that the people in the make-up have time to repair their cars before the heats/consi and then the feature.
