MVS is Saturday (with a good forecast). SMS IS going to get rained on Sat (I think) so they'll have to cram it all in Sunday.

I bet that the following will happen:

1) Depending on when the rains move out and how fast the track can be dried, there may or may not be pre-noon practice on Sunday.
2) No pit party. (No real loss there. Saves cleanup committee some time.)

As for qualifying? Tour will probably be set by points. Stafford's weekly divisions have done features-only before; they can be set by handicap with no foul there. The only problem is the Mini Stock feature. I can't see how a field could be put together if there's no heats. Maybe there'll be heats for those. I'm not sure. Depends on how much time SMS wants to save for that kind of thing.

Yes they can now (it was done before) and per Shawn's blog Mark has already received the necessary permission from the town to start before noon on Sunday if needed.

Just looked at radar, rain to the east of Stafford going northeast. No rain anywhere to the west. Looks good for today. Good luck evereyone.
