It's a expensive day for the late models and sport mods that come in third or below. When you do the math anything other then a win will cost you money to race for the day. It would be better to top load the purse down to 5th place paying 500 [winner 1,250, second 800 etc down to fifth] and pay 6th through 10th 100 dollars and everyone else 75 dollars. That way you have at least a 1 in four chance of paying to play. Same goes with street stocks. Top load the purse.
