Any inside tips as to who will be coming to Wall for the twin 66 lappers and the Late model race at the Turkey derby.:wave:

I think Thompson will play a big part in who's there and who's not....I think you can eliminate the True Value guys because I believe they are racing at Lee on the 25th...

Supposedly there are about 30 pre-entered cars. I would suspect that there will be about a dozen NJ Cars 8-10 LI cars 5-10 Pa. and upstate cars and the balance from the tour for this event.(Unless the weather screws this up, which is a good posibility.)

I really hope the weather stays away atleast Sunday so some of the tour guys will be there! If you have not seen yet Donny Lia will be driving a Blewett Motorsports car...

thanx... i have aluminum heads, i guess i can't come...

chili, maybe.... haven't planned for it yet.... i actually haven't been to a modified race since brian died.... i was at the shootout, but i was in the stands with my son and me and brian's nephew...

Yes, I do believe Jimmy bought one of Donny's old cars. Donny is actually driver for "Blewett Motorpsorts" in a #1 car. As for TC I am unaware of the car he will be in. Ken Wolley Jr. is scheduled to piolet the 14 car so I am unsure about him.

I know Donny was supposed to be in the car... but the weather changed things... Looks like NJ Native Ray Evernham will be in the car!

Man you gotta love Ray putting together a program for Turkey Derby. Another reason to be there!!!!

Thanksgiving with the inlaws, and then saving the marriage by getting out of their house with my cool brother-in-law the next day(s) for serious ground- pounder action. I converted him two years ago.

It was just announced and posted on www.LongIslandMotorsports.com that Ray Evernham will drive his last-ever Modified race at the Tommy Comerford Memorial on October 24th. The full press release may be found at: http://www.longislandmotorsports.com/Press/press-Wall.htm

With fans split between Thompson, Wall, and Mountain, this should certainly help Jim Morton's front gate.

It was announced here in this thread yesterday that Ray would be at Wall driving the Blewett #1 and the full press release has been on The Chrome Horn front page since yesterday http://www.thechromehorn.com/news/2009/news/news101709a.htm
