they all ready have it posted for next weekend. rain date listed on website.

bad move if ya ask me. too much other stuff going on.

Just called the track. they are having a meeting at 5 and will make a final decision then, which will then be posted on their website.

DUE TO THE ADVANCED EXTREME WEATHER FORECAST - THE WORLD SERIES EVENT HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED IN IT'S ENTIRETY TO NEXT WEEKEND -
OCTOBER 23-24-25. THE ENTIRE SCHEDULE WILL REMAIN THE SAME.
The track management felt that making this announcement at this time was in the best interest
of both the fans and competitors.

NEMA is scheduled to be at both. Thompson and Lee have in the past tried not to go against each other. Halloween?

All three tracks will lose drivers, as all three say they are running next weekend. The WMT won't have a full field unless a couple of drivers not entered show up. The 10-day forecast shows a 60 percent chance of rain all three days next weekend as of now.

Good move by Thompson in jumping on top of things and postponing early. Let's all hope for good weather next weekend. I do see they have Oct 30 - Nov 1 for rain dates. Going to the races on Halloween day would be :cool: and my young son would love it but I'm really praying they can run next weekend.

I'm still trying to figure out next weekend's schedule. I was half way to Cleveland before I figured out that the weather didn't suck. Oh well, best stop at Fatheads for a 'sloper and a few dozen micro-ales. At least that way I'll show up at my annoying cousin's house in Buffalo in good shape. Unless you live within ten miles of the track, you might as well be Nostradamus ...

just as soon as the crews are paid, we'll be more than happy to sit in a hotel room and race the next dry day. until then, we'll be back at work on Monday.
