It still seems like it was just yesterday...the shock of it all was so strong. Simply the best ever!

10/24/85 - to a group of die-hard race fans this day is equivilent to the day Elvis died or the day the space shuttle blew up. It's locked in time with strong emotions.
Everytime I go to Martinsville I look into turns 3 & 4 and then turns 1 & 2 and think back. Boy a lot of modifed history "retired" there.

When modifieds ruled and Evans was the King.

To say that Charlie wasn't too bad himself would be an understatement.
