Best food? I would have to say, pork roll or kabonasy at Thompson's Ice Breaker. Not the tracks food but the best I had at a track all year!!! Well, except for Mountain Speedway's pierogies, but that wasn't on the tour schedule...LOL

It's seems funny too me to call Chris Pasteryak a rookie, I know it was his 1st full season with the Whelen Modified Tour.

Best race: Bristol. I just loved the excitement that was build towards this event and getting to see them for the 1st time at the biggest encircled stadium!!! Might not be the best competitive race, but it brought tons of excitement!!!

Outstanding driver: Donny Lia, second championship.

Most Improved: Ryan Preece, stepped huge and made himself a star on the tour! Great to see Ole' Blue back in victory lane.

Best Looking car: Jimmy Blewett had some throw back rides this season with paint jobs, but his sheet metal in some races were just outstanding! His Riverhead car this year had the "b" pillar showing outside the sheet metal, just made a nice cut. Best body man award??? lol Jimmy's nice ride "66" at Wall is hot!

Rookie of the Year: Pasteryak

Favorite track: NHIS

Best food: I'm going with RGee, Chuck Steuer's trailer after the tour race at Riverhead! Also major props to Dave Brigati's crew and food!

Outstanding Driver: Ryan Preece- he is just so smooth.
Most Improved: Rowan, Pasteryak or Eric Goodale.
Best looking car: That is so tough the 79 shows up with some beauties, the 36 looks like it just came form a body shop each week, the 2 and 16 also always look sharp
Rookie of the Year: Eric Goodale (Ran every race).
Favorite Track NHMS/Bristol
Best Food: The meat ball subs during the race at Spencer, the 36 team was making them. They were cooking them in the infield in a crock pot attached to a Honda generator. MMMMMM, I could go for one right now! .

Favorite track? Riverhead ( look forward to that race more than any others)

Best food? Stafford's grilled chicken with bbq sauce, cheese, onions and peppers - but stumbling upon the meatballs at the Preece mobile home wins the award. Send me some via the mail please!
