17 charger races is pretty good if i remember right it was like 14 or 15 in the past

Nice. Love to see the amount of Charger shows added. Some of the best weekly racing out there. Wouldn't mind seeing the same added shows for Trucks and Legends.

Any chance that 100-lapper will count caution laps?

Wow am I mistaken? Time Trial Figure-8's for the Cromarty Cup? Has that ever been done?

That is an action packed May. Kudos to them for keeping every division on the schedule for opening night. It's nice to include everyone especially considering they usually don't get great attendance so early in the season.

As a driver I don't think I'd be too excited about having a double point show in week one, but as a fan it should prove to generate some exciting racing.

I like all of the various Enduro appearances, wouldn't mind seeing some more Grands. I like the full-time Late Models. Can't say there is much more I could ask for.

Now I wish it wasn't only November.

well john, having time trials/double point shows on opening night should motivate all teams to have their cars ready for the first warmup of the year in April so they can at least get all the kinks out, in which they have 2 full practice days to do it

i've just noticed over the years there are two occasions that guys tend to overdrive, that's opening night and double point shows. mixing them together should be interesting. :lol:

Really not anything new.....First 2009 Charger race was a double point and so was the first Late Model race of 2009...

Anybody read this month's Speedway Illustrated, ya know, that magazine that some guy named A. J. Hackley or something like that works for, well anyhow, nice article from Karl Fredricson with Chris Turbush in it and this weeks AARN has a good story about J. Bonsigonore's run at the N/S Shoot out. Good to see the local guys get nice PR in good racing mags!!!!!
