I thought I share it anyway.
Some years ago there was a magazine called Racing for Kids. I don’t remember the year, but up at NHIS they asked me to shoot some photos of Todd Bodine for a story they were doing about how much help Todd was tutoring and advising new young drivers in NASCAR. I told Todd what they were looking for and who they suggested. His reply was something like “That’s a good choice, he can use some help and he’s a good kid”. I hadn’t heard much about the young driver at the time, but when I ran across this photo I took of them chatting before the shoot, it put a smile on my face. I guess Todd is a pretty good tutor, that kid was Jimmy Johnson.
