if to many wmt teams go to stafford and thompson races. it could be the end of wmt races at these tracks.the mrs tour runs for a third of total purse. and then all the big buck wmt teams would take over the mrs tour. so the bottom line is do not go!

what it is, is that nascar needs to spend more money on the WMT, its the reason why the SWMT is falling apart, its easier for a guy to go to a MRS race and win and win just about the same amount as the SWMT. Personally I will always support the WMT they are what i grew up with and love, but the MRS is just as good and with the WMT drivers running the races won't end the WMT.....only Nascar will do that (thats what they do best)...I will be at stafford and thompson twice for the MRS, Like JAWS said, just as good of race if not better for a cheaper ticket!! MRS or WMT they are both great and I will always support both!! If and when the WMT cuts a TV deal, then you will see more races and bigger purses!! :cheers:

The WMT 150 last year was $30 G/A.
