The first night of racing is a little more than a month away. Any word on which modified teams are heading south?

I hope its a great car count since this is pretty much my racing season with the exception of the 1-2 WMT races I get to make on the year.

I'd think you could see TC, Hossfeld, Grigas, Preece and Mechalides also. McKennedy up in the air as of now. Seuss no.

I see Rocco will be there with an SK - they should put him in the back up Brady car as a teammate to Teddy! Atleast there will be some competition for the TS Hauler SK for a change.

Don't think Rocco and TC will be teaming up anytime soon after Stafford last year.

Kevin Rice of AARN reports Bobby Grigas, TC, Chuck Hossfeld, Barry Callovini, Rowan Pennink, and Ryan Preece have submitted entries. With Matt Hirshman and Burt Myers expected.

Brooks sends us the entries in packets... we have only received one package from him as of now with more expected... I will post them on the Website (NewSmyrnaSpeedway.org) as soon as we get them!

I know its not modified related but there are no entries listed for the PASS race the week before other than Tim Russell that I know of. It would help so I can plan my schedule for those few weeks.

PASS is handling everything for that event so I have no list or information. They are basically leasing the facility so it is their show. Wish I could offer more.

I like PASS racing but i belive this race will be a flop only because they are running at LANIER for Winta Fest in the CRA Series

Yeah... it's not the first time RJ (CRA) has scheduled something on top of us... Seems like every time we announce something big, he comes out not to long after that and schedules something... He tried it with our Governor's Cup back in November (which is run on the same weekend EVERY year) but that one got cancelled by the Track (Nashville) closing.

I've heard it is not done on purpose, but how many times can it be coincidence?

He announced his Speedfest Event 1 week after the PASS press-release came out on Speed51.

That is the rumor however I can not 100% confirm it at this time as I have not yet received any paperwork on that car.

I'll be covering the PASS race Friday and Saturday and then hit Lanier for the big Sunday show on the way home, gonna be a great weekend of racing!!!!

Manion had the car here practicing about a month ago and said they would be here... at the time he said he was 'pretty sure' it would be Ryan... Guess we'll just have to wait and see... They don't usually disclose who the driver is until the day of.

IS Ryan in Bears car? Is that why he's the 14?????

Just seems odd that Ryan is listed as the 14 (heard that he was going in the family owned car) and that it's sponsored by Jack's Competition Motors.

Preece was entered in the Bear 14, But plans have changed he will not be driving.
(as of last week)
Don't know if Bear will be there with someone else driving or not.

#6 will be the primary number on the tour for 2010, therefore Obviously Ronnie will be in that car. Dave in the #12 is actually the backup car. #12 is still the primary number on the SK.
