they release it by the end of feb or so. But it usually stays the same every year, week by week events. I just change the dates and it comes pretty close to be what is released. So use this as a base line schedule.

Last year they had a 150 lapper on the weekend before Bristol.. With the tour race moving to one week later, I wonder if they would have two extra distance races back to back...or if maybe the season would end the weekend after Bristol.

Hmmm.. if that's the case, they will go up against Bristol on closing night. How will that affect the crowd?

Also, I had a blast seeing the 150 lapper last year when it was the Saturday before the Bristol modified race. Now, before it is the twin 25s.. Are they worth it..or should I just stick closer home to Waterfords modified/ supers show?

Then will have to decide whether to hang out in Bristol area for the 150 on Saturday.. or head home after the mods are done so I can hit up the Seekonk modified show.

The 150 sounds like a better deal than the twin 25s. What do you think?

Anything is better than the twin 25s. There really isn't much to see but a train going by 25 times

Last year of the season would def make a better choice. Double points and the champion is crowned.

Only bad thing about that is they didn't use the Cone last year for the last race, Which I hope they change this year.

And Bristol hurt the crowd? Naw... Not at all.

Is this official yet? Will it be twin 25 lap mod races, the night before Martinsville?

As much as I enjoy the stadium and the mods, the twin 25 lap mod races are usually the worst of the night. I recommend not coming on one of those nights if you can help it. Those guys just ride...........pretty boring.

So maybe they can throw us a 100 lapper the night before Martinsville.

Not sure the teams would want this.
Not much time to repair a car if running both events and wrecked or damaged on night 1.

If your going to run the same car at the Stadium and Martinsville, you don't need to be at Martinsville in the first place. Most Southern teams have a Stadium car and a Tour car.

Sorry, I was thinking any northern teams since Martinsville is a northern tour race.

How do they usually run the schedule when they have twin 25s?

Do they run the 100 lap sportsman first? or last?

Are the twin 25s run back to back or do they separate them with another race?

burtmyers1
03-15-2010, 06:30 PM
Usually its:
20 lap Street Stock
25 lap Modified
100 lap Sportsman
25 lap Modified
15 lap Stadium Stock A
15 lap Stadium Stock B

Or it could be:
15 lap Stadium Stock A
25 lap Modified
100 lap Sportsman
25 lap Modified
20 lap Street Stock
15 lap Stadium Stock B

But just because the Modifieds are having a dull night don't stay at home. The 100 lap Sportsman race is usually a pretty good. It has the biggest purse for the Sportsman division and that race means a lot to them so they really go after it.
