New Smyrna Speedway Friday January 5th - RAIN

We have just arrived at New Smyrna Speedway and made it to the press box area just in time to logon on and avoid the rain. We have been told that the area is currently under a tornado watch until 8 PM tonight and it is raining very hard outside. Cars are either covered or pushed back into their haulers.

Racing activity has not been officially cancelled as of the current time.

straight from I95 to the speedway at 11am this morning.
got a few shots in knowing that rain was called for in the afternoon.
stayed for an hour or so of practice then had to checkin to the campgrounds and get ready for the storm.
hope its not bad, raining hard at the moment

anyway its better than snow.

Todays weather is upper sixties but very breezy. All green for tonight.
