Good action between TC, Civali and Silk.
Silk dq'd for incorrect camshaft. The motor was to be a NASCAR approved spec engine.

Rocco thrown out for the rest of the week. At least as of last night he is. It was an ugly event and an even uglier in Victory Lane. After the initial contact with Silk, Rocco was just out of control. You just knew it would be bad.

Wonder how much is sour grapes on Rocco's part for getting dumped from TS without really even racing much in their cars? Or was it Freddies fault? lol

Might as well toss Silk out for the rest of the week too, he admitted to wrecking Rocco.....

I kinda missed the original contact as they hit right where the grandstand railing blocks the the view of the turn. After the wreck on the restart I along with the majority of the crowd packed it up as we knew there was a long clean up and who wanted to watch 4 sk's circle the track. I guessed I should have stayed. Hopefully there is video of the racing instead of just the fight. I know they have the races on in the track lounge so we should see it somewhere. The have been pretty good at policing the guys spinning cars and putting them in the back until this time.

Not a good night for either team really. Kind of a slap at Brooks and Nascar to swap out the cam on a spec engine don't you think?
Should be a fun season at Stafford and Thompson
