St. Johns, Pa- The official 2010 racing season is straight ahead and many race teams that compete at Sundance vacations Speedway are putting the final touches on their mounts in preparation for the upcoming Laurel Mall Race Car Show in West Hazleton, Pa. While some are preparing for the show, others are preparing for the second race of the season in the Mountain Madness Enduro Series, which is slated for Saturday, February 27.

Round No. 2 of the enduro series will feature extended lap races for the 4 cylinders, 6 cylinder cars and trucks and 8 cylinder cars and a portion of the proceeds from the event will be used to help benefit the Tracy family from nearby Freeland, Pa. With the front gate admission set at only $5, the show should be one of a kind, much like it was on the snowy and slippery racing surface for the January event.

Several teams will battle for the win while others will be determined to endure the elements with hopes to be around for the closing laps.

Thanks to former enduro racer, Cory Student and his sponsors, race fans may have the opportunity to receive Domino’s pizza coupon books, coupons for $5 off an oil change combo from Walmart, bags of chips from Frito Lay, two liter bottles of Sam's Choice soda and Pepsi products.

Rain, snow or shine, the action is slated to begin at 1 PM.

While some racers already hit the track this season others will be in attendance at the popular Laurel Mall Race Car Show from March 3 through March 7. Racing vehicles from each of the tracks divisions will be on display for shoppers to see, plus drivers and the staff from Sundance Vacations Speedway will be on hand to answer any questions regarding short track auto racing in Northeast Pennsylvania. The 2010 season schedule will also be available at the show.

Same amount as usual. I used the phrase "extended laps" becuase that's what enduros are, as opposed to a regular Saturday night show.
