Good pics...I am just warning you....I might be stealing these for the NEETS site....I'd rather have NEETS driver's personal photos in the rules section than something I Google'd!

Just make sure the dog is securely fastened in before the race....we don't want him flying out!

Do you guys build those cages completly by yourself, or do you order them then install them? this is going to be my first year racing. the car is completly ready to go with the exception of the cage. just wonderin where i might be able to get one from.

I had the hoop from the old car and bought the rest from Jegs. You can order the cage kits from Summit or Jegs for particular applications. I founf S+W had the best kits. They are fit to that car and are pre notched. My last one was perfect....assemble and weld up!

Don't forget about that camera mount!
I just bought a video camera that I would like to put in your car. Seriously!
Some in car video would be cool to share with everyone.
If not a you Jack, then maybe it could be a Critter cam.

Here's the camera.

Bought it at BJ's in New Castle DE.

Hey John,

this is a quote from an older thread, but I think you might find it quite useful...

I use dan drobnick welding from deer lake pa, 570 449 7228, he comes to your garage, bends the pipe to conform to the track rule, he uses heavier wall tubing, .0120 i believe, he will add extra bars wherever you want. Usually takes about three hours. Total cost including the pipe is $ 395.00. There might be a little extra charge for gas money depending where he needs to go. Not a bad deal for someone that is inexperienced with bending tubing and welding. Safety of the drivers is his #1 concern, he stands behind his work. He is the track welder for big diamond & sundance speedways. Good luck to all.

Oh...and Dave.......I'm not sure if that in-car camera idea is a good one....it has a built in microphone!!!!!

The last thing we need to see is Critter inside his car talking to himself or announcing the race frim inside his car!!!!! LOL!!!! Of course, if we put it in Jack's car.....all we will see is Critter getting passed!!!!

Love ya Critter!

Good spirit there Critter!!! It doesn't matter how many people you pass....so long as you finish the race! Lot's of times we see drivers lap the field two times over and not finish.....

John, good luck, let us know how you make out with it!

Critter, if you want to get a top 5, you're gonna need to put one of these on the front of your car so you'll go faster.

wanted to reply about the Oldsmobile door bar. Jack if that bar is not bent out into the door your elbows gonna hurt. You really need them to bow out into the door. That also keeps cars farther away from you. phil

Yeah. I set up the seat and noticed that. That was a good observation! Ill have to cut it out and put in a bent one. I just picked up some tubing today. I got a lot done today-gutted the doors, set up the seat, window net, did some tin work, I hve to put a few door bars on both sides....better safe than sorry.
