Comments from some Drivers after Practice:
Bobby Santos, III
The car felt really good in practice, I just have to do the same thing at qualifying. Practice does not mean much. I am happy to be with these guys, they have done a good job for me.

I am really excited to work with these guys in this car. I am looking forward to a good year and having some fun.

I am excited to be in a modified car. This is where I am from. I live about 40 minutes from this place so I especially love coming here. I grew up watching these things and I am happy to be racing one of the best cars on the tour.

Does Thompson remind you of any Southern Tracks?
Believe it or not the only track that has a resemblance that I can think of is Bristol. And that is just because of the speed that you carry into the corner. Other than that there is nothing else like it. It is the feel that you get when you have so much straight away speed. You can actually carry that speed into the corner to set you up to come off. It is similar to using the banking at Bristol . It is not like Bristol but similar to Bristol. I am enjoying it I am having a good time.

Did you follow any of the drivers on the track?
I tried to follow Preece a little bit and I followed Stefanik a little bit to kind of get an idea of where I needed to make my Apex and all that stuff. After following somebody for a couple of laps I finally got the hang of it. We are going to get the car working a little be better and hopefully we will be good.

Te car is really fast. We unloaded the car and did not make any changes. The car was really fast right out of the trailer. Hopefully we will qualify well with the tour car. We are going out eighth in qualifying and hopefully we can qualify still decent.
