hey im looking to move my battery inside the car are we aloud to do that or do we gotta keep it in the stock location

With the 8 cyl., the rules say ;

Batteries in stock position or relocated in driver compartment SECURELY MOUNTED IN
APPROVED CONTAINER, FINAL DECISION BY OFFICIALS IN CHARGE...(don't use duct tape)..lol

With the 4/6 cyl. Trucks,
Battery can be put in the bed,BUT, then Lexan glass must be used in/on rear window.

Check Riverhead raceway website,click your division..

I ran the 8 cylinders last year with the battery mounted in the driver rear seat area as did numerous other cars. As long as you have a secure mount bolted thru the floor and put the battery in a battery box you should be fine.

I run 4 cylinders, I have my battery mounted on the passenger front floor, inside of the roll cage, inside a plastic battery box, with metal straps over it, bolted to the floor. The officials made a comment about it last year, saying "Thats what I like to see".
