#36 TBR Chevy to pay tribute to Tommy Baldwin Sr. at Talladega: Tommy Baldwin Racing (TBR) and Baldwin Automotive have joined together for the Aaron's 499 this weekend at Talladega Superspeedway. The partnership will include a custom paint scheme for the #36 Chevy driven by Johnny Sauter. The car pays homage to the paint scheme Tommy Baldwin Sr., team owner Tommy Baldwin's father, used on his modified coupe in the early 1970's. "I loved hanging out at the track with my dad when I was a kid and this was one of the first paint schemes I remember him having on his car," Baldwin said. "This was when he first started running the No. 7 car and when I think about him racing in those days, this is what I picture. I'm excited about the way the #36 Baldwin Automotive Chevy looks and I can't wait to get it out on the track." Baldwin continued, "It was great partnering with Baldwin Automotive for the scheme and I look forward to having a strong run for them in the No. 36. I have a lot of confidence in our superspeedway program and having Johnny behind the wheel for one more week." Sauter will make his second and final start in the #36 Chevy this weekend at Talladega Superspeedway, a track at which he has had some success in the past. Sauter has finished in the top-16 in three of this four Sprint Cup Series starts at the track.(Tommy Baldwin Racing), see an image of the car on my #36 Team Schemes page.(4-22-2010)
