3 Layer suit for Go Kart?

I'm working on getting a suit. It would be nice to be able to use the same suit for go karts and cars. Theres a 3 layer suit I like, but if I did outdoor karting on a warm day with it, would I just get hot wearing it? Hotter than a normal go kart suit?

Should I just get a regular go kart suit and not be cheap?

I have a 2 layer Simpson suit, and it's not that bad when it's really hot out. You don't walk around with it zipped up all the time anyway. And the EEKR go karts only have 2 races in July & August when it's the most hot (not sure what kind of karting you're doing).
