Coming off an outstanding opening day, the Frantz Racing Team was excited about week two. The day started with the team behind as Frantz arrived to Sundance Vacations Speedway after practice was complete forcing him to start last in his heat race. While trying to come through the field of eight, Paul was caught up in a small mishap knocking the toe out on the front of the Associated Chiropractic 210.
Fortunately, he was able to continue and finish fourth and transfer to the feature.

Paul, along with crew chief Shaun Burd, were confident that the car would be fine for the feature. Paul started sixth, and was beginning to make a charge to the front. He moved to the outside of the fifth place car entering turn three, but exiting turn four the two made contact sending the Haines Exxon/MetLife car hard into the front stretch wall ending the day for Frantz.

While the team was working on the car, Frantz stated:"I guess it wasn't our day. That's racing what are going to do. We'll fix it and come back in two weeks and go at it again".

The car received extensive damage, but fortunately it appears to be all bolt on pieces only. Next up for the Frantz Racing Team is Sunday May
16 at Sundance Vacations Speedway. Along with the Sport Mods will be Late Models, Factory Stocks, ATQMRA, and PAL Legends. Heat races start at 2:00, admission is $10. For more information go to www.frantzracing10.com.
