Nice improvement guys going from 10 cars to 13. Jimmy John, thank for bringing the car out. You too Daryn.
Hopefully JRod will join the party this week. 14 cars for the 50 lapper (or more) would be acceptable in todays economy.
Where are you Scott?

Last I heard, Scott, was looking for a sponsor. Seems long time sponsor is longer able to help out with the #10 late model. Plus, he lives in Ma. makes the trek down each week they raced. So who knows!

You also have a car full of sponsorships too! :) Roger I don't deny your dedication to racing, thank you for sticking your neck out to make sure the Late Models have a place to race on Long Island.

Unfortunately no 08 this week. Unless we can talk Shortround into sitting under the hood and pedaling as fast as he can.

thought Jrod said on Saturday that all they needed to do was to bolt the heads on which he said Chuck started to do on Sat.?

I don't know what the rush is, as far as I'm concerned once the 08 is out there things are going to get very boring.

I jest.

Paul McElearnys car is sitting out there. The Rotzis still have a car from what I understand. You got the 35 Burns car, 61 Coll car, 75 Sean Case car, and 16 Harvell Car. That's 6 more cars. People in the late models should make some phone calls to try and get some of them out. I know some of them run Mountain but it's worth a shot to call them.

i agree with matt... for once! it dont hurt to call i forgot about the 16 harvell car and i think the rotzis sold their late model i emailed the 53 car or burns earlier in the year they said they might show up for one but its unlikely been rubbed the wrong way to many times but if some other people call them they might change their mind

Sorrry guys but i think Roger Oxee has gone above and beyond to entice these guys to come out. Just hasn't worked, Roger is a true leader of his division and every division should have a guy like him as their voice. That would make the track a better place.

Hey Guys
If we can put the funds together we are going to come out with the 35 car a few times this year. The biggest problem is it will cost us almost 1000.00 to go through the gate between licenses dif tires and gate fees. What gear are you guys running these days. Roger give me a call when you can 631 807 4117

rog did they take off 100 for the win so now its 350? well tires 500--gas 60--entry--30 welder 15--605 to start the day. finish 4th or worst 40. drs with no sponsors and coming out of their pocket, what do you think, just the truth, if you get nothing in return, why waste your bill money and get nothing back.

yo danny i think the cost for the latemodels is even more then 605,thats what i spend every weeklol.i think our charger pay out is the same as it was in 1978,thats is a horrible reality.quess we can label this just pure greed and zero respect, for what we all pay to put on a show, all divisions should at least have the winners win back and break even(at least!!!!!!!!!!)see you at the bull ring!

It costs about $785 per week to run the car if you put on new tires with no damage expenses...set of LM tires are $600 and change plus tax ...welder is still ony $10 and that is optional BUT you do what you can afford and keep raceing alive at Riverhead , that's what it's all about...Artie

Danny, the purse has not gone down. There was extra money in it when I won two weeks a go. I believe it was $650. The regular purse is still $450.00
