I have to disagree with that one Mike, they are paying the same as everyone else to race, and should be entitled to heat races.. They seem to have a good car count, so why not??? if its because of time restrictions, due to the 100 lap mod race, then limit the practice rounds for everyone , speed up the time trials a bit and you should make up enough time for them to run heats (their only 8 laps anyway)

if the heats don't mean anything for qualifying, there is no reason to run them. meaningless heats are fine for a regular program, but why for a big show that takes longer do heats need to be run when all will qualify?

well if they are meaningless then everybody should just run features. They pay the same as everyone else they shld run heats and qualify in for their feature. Your opinion is heats are meaningless but someone elses opinion might be that driver introductions and time trials are meaningless. Run the time trials saturday like the opening week.

Any class with 10 or less cars are feature only, that's been the norm the last 2 years.

That's correct...for regular shows.
However, special events may be adjusted by promoter, in the best interest of the show.
