did anybody see this? I never saw a post on it.
It's sad that it is so under-publicized just because NASCAR does not want to take the attention off of the Sprint Cup.

I believe that was Feb '09, not last Feb. as the article makes it sound. There was some publicity about it back then, it was the first test session for the modifieds at Bristol. Being a test session it was not an "official" record. Time trials for the race in August were rained out so no official record was recorded then either.
