What was with the double file restart on lap 80 or so today after several single file restarts?

The crowd was good. I got there around 12:45PM and there were not many, but then it filled in nicely, especially during the 100-lap Modified feature.

They said something about double file restarts towards the end, but I can't hear the pa system where I sit going into turn one except when there's little or no cars on the track. I'm sure someone can answer your question on that one.

Obviously they can't....never heard of having 4 single file restarts then a double file, then back to single file...scoring must've fell asleep at the wheel along with the race official.

Wonder why SVS isn't posting a link to this forum on the website anymore??

It was announced at the drivers meeting that after lap 75, they would have 1 additional double file restart... I thought it was a decent idea to gather the field back up for the finish....

A few year back a representitive of the track posted that this forum was in no way shape or form affiliated with the speedway. It is simply Racerhub.com's forum with the Speedway's name attached to it.

Now as long as the forum benefits the track so be it and the link stays. Now once discusted fans, owners, drivers, family or sponsors start to complain, the link disappears.

It's kind of a selective use only.

WJ is correct. All the forums here were created to discuss racing at the tracks that RacerHub covers through it's websites LIJam, Pocono Thunder and TCH. It is totally up to the individual tracks to support or promote our forums, or not to.

White Lightnin is right....When everyone started to complain, they removed the link and started using another forum. My guess is they have probably blocked the user names of the so called "trouble makers" (a.k.a Those who do not side with them).

Just another sign of whats really going on at SVS.

Correct - Sundance Vacations Speedway decided to use a one-way forum for quick announcements on their website. We at PoconoThunder.net remain an independent voice for Pocono-area asphalt racers.
