St. Johns, Pa- Heat and humidity set the stage Saturday for the drivers and fans at Sundance Vacations Speedway. A late race caution was all that Mountaintop’s Paul Morgan, Jr. needed to overtake Eric Wink for his third Factory Stock win of the season. Scott Hubler of Coplay cruised to his fourth straight Pennsylvania Asphalt Legends victory of the season before the skies opened up at the start of the Late Model feature, forcing track officials to postpone the remaining events until Saturday, June 26.

Kenny Kleppinger started from the pole and led the opening circuit of the 20-lap Factory Stock feature. Kendall Foulk ran second, followed by Joey Barbush, Keith Frankenfield and Eric Wink.

Wink wasted no time moving ahead and climbed to the runner-up spot behind Kleppinger on the third lap. Meanwhile, Brandon Oltra worked his was up to the third position.

Wink overtook Kleppinger for the lead on lap four and began to put some distance between himself and the rest of the field.

Oltra climbed to the second spot by lap seven with Kleppinger, Matt Schlenker and Paul Morgan, Jr. ion tow.

Schlenker grabbed the third spot from Kleppinger on lap 13 and Barbush overtook Kleppinger to take fourth with four laps remaining.

Meanwhile, Morgan began to power toward the leader. However, Wink has a commanding lead and it appeared that Morgan would have to settle for second. That changed when the yellow flag waved for debris in turn four with two laps remaining.

With a great restart, Morgan was able to get by Wink to score his third victory of the season over Wink, Oltra, Schlenker and Barbush.

Scott Hubler took the lead from Carl Jones on the second lap of the 15-lap Pennsylvania Asphalt Legends feature and cruised to his fourth win of the season. So far this season, Hubler is batting 1.00 in the division.

The Late Model, Sport Modified and Factory Stock Father's Day features were rained out and have been rescheduled for Saturday, June 26. A regular show consisting of the Sport Modifieds, Late Models, Factory Stocks and P.A.L. Legends will be held on June 26 as well.
