Was sitting right in turn 4,heard he rubbed chuck,i didnt see that;looked like hard racin and just got lose.Couldnt tell if horns were bent,i hope not....Also to Pitbull,great! video[as always]Thanks.Now how do i get a copy of that?plus memorial race and tour race,am i asking for to much.lol

Actually 84 just touched rear tire or rear nerf bar on 11,my son took a vid of race and where we sit in turn 4,it was right in our face

Hey TMAC can you post that video?? It would be very interesting to see. There was a lot of finger pointing during and after that race. I didn't see the wreck but I'd love to see the video if you can post it.

Yes, please post your video. I was at the exit of turn 4, up against the fence, with no one in front of me. I was watching the front row.I would like to see if I'm crazy or not!::confused:

The 84 team was blaming Chuck. They said he right turned him. When he drove into the pits and towards the scales they threw stuff at his car. I again didn't see how the wreck started, but a view from Turn 4 would be very interesting.

Well, after watching your video, I would say, Chuck came out of turn 4 like someone said "clear" or didn't say anything at all, that John was there. Look at Chris & Park's line, they are a full car width lower on the track. P.S. not bad for a phone cam.

I looked at the car pretty closely after the race. Looked to me like at least a front clip to the firewall. Question is, Trans tail shaft, Trans, crank shaft, usually rear gear casing.. AND possibly crank shaft! A lot happens when the impact bends BOTH motor plates... Been there done that...

Thanks TMAC. It does look like the 84 is loose on exit and then the contact happens. I can't really see the 11x coming up. It just looks like an unfortunate racing deal. It's unfortunate for the 84 team, hope they make it back out and continue to fight for that championship. I just don't know if looking at this, and the driver behind the wheel if you can blame Chuck.

from the videos available it looks like a clear cut racing incident, and not really the kind of deal where you can place blame on either driver. Thats just a product of racing those cars on such a tight track.

If you look real close at the video you can see the right front wheel of the 84 snap to the right and the left is still straight . looks like something broke. look at it a few times. I could be wrong

It looks like the 84 wheel went to the right when the 11's right rear tire hit the 84's left front tire ... from turn 3 pit stands when it happened it looked like the 11 car drifted (or turned right ) up off of turn four but that was a view from turn 3 .... as far as people throwng things ,I was right there and words were exchanged back and forth between the 11 crew and a couple from the 84team which lasted all of maybe 20 seconds and that was the end of it !!!! plain and simple!!!! nothing else happened ...AP

Could it be a poor tire compound. What's up some tires have barcodes some don't? Gotta be an old tire not to have a barcode on it.

The tires had nothing to do with what happened...

Ive had plenty of tires with out bar codes that were just as good as the ones with, in fact sometimes better...

Lets not make this into an issue that has no relevence on the situation...
