“PACK THE TRACK” NIGHT RAINED OUT;
CLASSIC NEXT SATURDAY AT WALL STADIUM

Wall Stadium promoter Jim Morton was forced to postponed his “Rack The Track” Fan Appreciation Night activities for Saturday night (July 10) after much needed rain hit the area early Saturday afternoon. With the annual “Garden State Classic” scheduled for this coming Saturday evening (July 17), Morton and his staff are currently looking over the schedule for a possible date to reschedule Saturday’s rained out events.

Saturday’s “Garden State Classic” program will feature the Supreme Manufacturing Modifieds in a 150-lap championship event. The Street Stocks will race in a 25-lapper and the Factory Stocks will battle in a 20-lap feature. The 4C SuperModifieds will also see action the Garden State Vintage Stock Car Club will have their beautifully restored racecars on hand. The Sportsman and Legend Cars have the night off.

Pit gates will open at 12:30 p.m. on July 17, with a paid practice session set from 1:30 p.m. until 3:45 p.m. The regular practice session will be up at 4:00 p.m., while grandstand seating will also open at 4:00 p.m. Qualifying is set for 6:30 p.m. and main event action is set for 7:30 p.m. This Saturday night “summer schedule” will be in effect through Labor Day weekend.

On Sunday (July 18), the fifth mile paved “inner oval” continues the 2010 “Sunday Series” featuring Go Karts, wingless Midgets, Legend Cars, Bandoleros and Micro Stocks starting at noon.
