The 7th annual CARQUEST SK 150, scheduled for
Friday, July 23 at Stafford Motor Speedway, will feature total posted awards

away with $4,000. The winner’s share of the purse is $3,500 with $500 in
first place contingency money available from CARQUEST Auto Parts, The
Davidson Company in memory of Dave Rowe, and Valvoline. Additional
contingency bonuses of $125 for second place will be paid by Call Before You
Dig, and New England Race Fuel will supply a $50 product bonus to the third

for the 7th Annual CARQUEST SK 150 up to $25,500. Drivers must have
contingency decals from each contingency sponsor on their cars to receive
the contingency bonus and drivers must use Sunoco Race Fuel in order to

The CARQUEST SK 150 will start 30 cars. The 7th Annual CARQUEST SK 150 pays
$300 to start the race, while 10th place will pay $1,000. The purse
increases by $100 for each position from 9th place to 3rd place, while
second place pays $2,200. The payout for 11th place is $900, and from
positions 12 through 16, the purse decreases by $100 per position. The 17th
position pays $375, and the remainder of the starting positions decreases by
$25 per position to 20th place, with all drivers finishing 20th thru 30th

In 6 previous CARQUEST SK 150 events at Stafford, there have been four
different race winners: Ted Christopher (2000, 2001), Ronnie Silk (2002),
Frank Ruocco (2003, 2009), and Woody Pitkat (2008). Ruocco has been the
dominant driver of late when it comes to the CARQUEST SK 150, with two wins
and a second place finish in the past three 150-lap events. The CARQUEST SK
150 has also produced two first-time SK Modified® feature winners at
Stafford with Silk’s victory in 2002 and Ruocco’s win in 2003. Along with
the four CARQUEST SK 150 champions, other Stafford SK Modified® extra
