Still bent!

Due to the HOT weather, lack of motivation, and the non shortage of beer, I still find my car sitting where I left it last month......muddy and bent up.:(
I wonder if Im going to bother racing sunday:confused:

same here jack its still sitting still blowed up but its derby season and 600 bucks would help fix my race car lol

Jack you have only one car to keep on the track. I have three cars ready to race and will have the 4th car ready for 8/15 ladies race at Diamond.
You can be ready. I wish I could race in both classes this Sunday But I must leave right after the 4 banger race.I have an 8 hour drive Sunday eve/night
or I would do battle with the 8 cyl cars. phil

I look at it this way...At least at drag racing...no mud and no bent car.:)
Been busy going straight and wrenching on my 57.
I got the fleet of 10 cars now to upkeep..Not including the enduro cars and any customers cars here. So straightening my wreck is last on my mind.

I will be there. The truck barely runs and the tires are pointed inwards, the top rad hose has duct tape on it, front left tire is rubbed pretty badly, etc etc. but im going to race. lol, hopefully it will last. spectator, i would happily put the camera in my truck, but i dont think it would be a very exciting movie to watch...lol

I am stuggling to get motivated too. The car is sitting in a big pile of grandview dirt in the garage. I guess I should be there instead of posting on the board.

Well after hurting a $20k motor tonight at the track, I certainly will not be attending this weekend. Its repairable but right now Ill be drowning my sorrows in a 30 pack of beer:*-(
That means car stays bent for another month.:(

Now if you had 20k to spend in enduro racing your budget would be covered for many many years. 10 perhaps

Theres no $ return on bent up race cars.(except for scrap) Nor on muscle cars turned into race cars. Ill make this mistake only once.
