Admission price at this track is like the Elephant in the living room.
No one likes to talk about it, like it isn't really a problem. It's just something we all live with, not making a fuss.

I have to call the track tomorrow, so unless someone beats me to the punch I will post it tomorrow.

And for the following week as well. I am bringing a number of first time fans, some of the families from my son's baseball team, to the track. All of the "sideshow" stuff is what is making them interested initially, hopefully there will be some good racing.

Admission for this week is $30.00 for adults. I forgot to ask for the price for children.

The price for admission to the August 7th show has not really been set yet. I guess? The person I just spoke too on the phone at first had said $27.00, but then advised that I should call back on Monday, as the price may change/hadn't been set yet.

I don't know what else to say without seeming to be overly negative or snarky.

There would be a lot more fans in the stands if the prices were lower...and those people would buy food and drinks creating twice as much revenue. I don't get it.

$30 is one of the 2 or 3 lowest admissions for the Tour.

Martinsville was $20 or $25 I believe, and Riverhead will have 4 times the fans that they had.

I paid $45 at Lime Rock Park

I paid $25 at Monadnock.

Stafford and Thompson's events are usually $32 to $50 depending.

NHIS is usually $45 I believe.

Bristol will have a G/A of $30 for the Mods/Trucks

So, in reality, $30 is pretty fair.

If those are correct numbers, and I have no reason to argue with you, then you are correct. Riverhead has one of the lowest admissions on the Tour.

The part that has always bothered me about the track is that they refuse to advertise their prices. They should have all the prices on the website. Period.

Even if they need to wait until 5 days before an event to know the admission price, it should be on the website.

I'm not even going to comment on a legitimate reason to not have all admission prices on the website a week before the event, because honestly I can't think of one.
