:wave:Thanks Cindy. Too bad about Howies "Destruction". I didn't see what happened but you could hear it pretty loud from the back stretch.

Thanks Poppop! It was a rough one that's for sure. He tried to sneak down low to avoid the spinning cars caused by someone's overzealousness :disgusted but ended up sliding head on into Brian Yelk's car on the front stretch. Luckily, he's fine and tells me the car IS fixable, so hopefully, the FireChicken will see another raceday.

Al, I stopped scoring the #25 when he had 65 laps in (although mylaps won't show that because I forgot to take the laps off him before I printed it, but in our notes and the finish above this reflects only 65 completed laps)...I gave him 3 chances and stopped scoring him...an official call on what will be done because the black flag was ignored was not discussed yet as we were way over schedule time-wise for the day, got home real late, and are at work now...this is simply the official scoring plus tech after the race.

And you have to fix the website because you have him in the wrong position...

That many laps with that many officials throwing a black flag there is no way it wasn't seen. I was just hoping that bumper did'nt come sailing off and through a windshield screen. And i noticed the turn 4 flagger leaving the 7's steel bumper laying on the track... they get kicked up someone gets a bumper in the face.

I spoke with Pat (#25) tonight, he discussed why he didn't pull off and he gratefully accepted the penalty for the action. He will not be DQ'd from this race, however he will not be attending the next event...the car will be raced by another driver though.

As for the bumper...we noticed it. The reason it was not moved was, for the most part, it was low on the track and being blocked by Petey's car. Any cars that were going low enough to squeeze through were not doing so fast enough to kick up the bumper anywhere. When we had the tow truck moving Petey's car....one of the crew grabbed it. IF it was any other circumstance out there....it would have been moved....
