-Aug. 18th Bristol North/South Combo race @ 6 on Speed
-Aug. 18th Bowman Gray Southern Tour race @ 7 on Versus

I plan to watch Bristol live and TiVo Bowman Gray to watch when Bristol is over.

OK, guys, this is what has been talked about, dreamed about, fantasized about for a very long time. I surely hope every single one of you has sent at least 10 messages to each of these networks thanking them for doing this and telling them you're going to buy their sponsors' products. If you don't, you really don't belong here.

Who would have ever thought there'd be the problem of choosing which Modifed race to watch on TV??

And stop complaining about this and that, there's a lot of thought and effort put into these shows, it really looks like they're trying hard to present a legitimate product. It ain't perfect, but what is in life? Sure, Jimmy Spencer is a duffus, but he's OUR duffus!! Jackie Arute interviews Indy Champ Dario Franchitti scant days before and after calling a mod race on TV. Ralph Shaheen, Phil Parsons are legendary on the world of racing on TV and are good at it. Be happy, smile about it! :) :) :)

By the way, will the Thompson race be shown, and if so, when??

But its criminal that Riverhead which holds what 3,000 people pays out $53,000 (Nascar dollars) and BG which has 15,000 + fans pays $29,000?
