Hey just trying to see if anybody wants to make the trip up to mountain at the end of October for the Halloween screamer. I am going with my 4cyl car it would be nice to get a big field of cars from long island there. Let me know if you have thoughts so others can see who is going. We can convoy up if you want to.

Are there any outstanding rule differences between Mountain and Riverhead? I've never raced there before, I'd like to bring up my 8 cyl. if I can.

Alright so only looks like I have two rules issues. Does anyone know how strict they are about the 3 point roll cage, and fuel tank rules?

I have an angle iron door bar setup, but no roll cage and my fuel tank is in the stock location which is behind the rear axle, my car is a '97 crown vic but it went through the factory recall process a few years back and the tank was rienforced and deemed safe by ford and the FDNY. Any chance of me getting away with this? I dont have the time to put the tank in the trunk. thanks- greg

Hey Ray Fitz, awesome idea!!! Beings it looks like that won't be happening at wall this year (which was a blast last year, except driving home sunday night after the race instead of partying) would'nt it be cool if sundance had a open comp enduro and guys from upstate NY, NJ, CT and PA all showed up, keep the rules the same as turkey derby last year (no fiberglass bodies etc), have a nice big purse (based on entries of course) a friday practice, sat race, sat nite party!! whoops.
