IT ALL COMES DOWN TO THIS

Late afternoon rain Friday, September 3, has created a truly special 2010 season finale for Spencer Speedway next Friday, September 10.

“I talked with Andy (Harpell) and we have agreed to run the 100-lap RoC Modified show next Friday,” stated Spencer Speedway promoter John White . The super fast RoC modifieds are getting ready for their 60th annual Race of Champions show at Oswego Speedway, September 23-25. Seven different classes will be in competition over the weekend, including the powerful RoC Modifieds, RoC Sports Modifieds, Street Stocks, Late Models, Super Stocks, Mini-Stocks and 360 Super Modifieds. For more information about this event go to the Race of Champions website, www.raceofchampions.net (http://www.raceofchampions.net).

The RoC Modifieds will be joined by Spencer Speedway regular divisions; Sunoco Modifieds, Street Stocks, Super Sixes and Auto Value Scorpions, plus the addition of the Legend Cars. What a line up, six different divisions in one night!!

In order to make the whole night possible, starting time has been moved up to 7 p.m. sharp. The planned Twin 25’s for the Sunoco Modifieds have been changed to one regular 35-lap Sunoco Modified main event. This race will be the final race in the NASCAR Upstate New York Pro-Modified Series presented by Hoosier Tires of WNY and Sunoco Race Fuels and a Race of Champions Qualifier. It will also serve as the season final track point race. Regular points will be used to determine the 2010 Sunoco Modified Track Champion.

Regular track points will also be on the line in the Street Stocks, Super Sixes and Auto Value Scorpion finales. The Street Stocks will also be vying for a Race of Champions stating spot.
