Not a great race overall as even with new pavement, Spencer Speedway still seems

like it's a one groover. Tire wear was minimal as few guys pitted for tires. That has

not been the case most of the year on the ROC tour. Chuck had the fastest car by far

coming from 9th, he was all over the back of Jan Leaty waiting for a mistake that

never came. Jan is smooth as silk and used a great forward bite to keep that Hutter

steelhead of Chucks at bay. Classy move also by Chuck as he got into Jan once in

the late stages coming out of 4, leaving Jan to swerve and save it but Chuck

pedalled giving the top spot back to him. Proves what I already knew that fast guys

don't need to abuse each other to put on a show. Thank you Mr Hossfeld.

The show this week at Dunn Tire should be a dandy.
