My sources in Jersey are saying that the track maybe up and running for the Derby. Anybody else hearing this? Let's hope so

I hope so too, cus I have had to miss it the last two years. I was figuring on being able to squeek it in this year.

The rumor was mentioned in Area Auto and supposedly" the new people have a great amount of experience in the sport and would be expected to do a stellar job."

Only rumors so far here in central NJ. I have heard the same rumor from two separate sources on two different days but it's way too early for me to add any comments about any details I've heard. I'm keeping my fingers crossed...I don't know if I could go cold turkey on the Turkey Derby.

It would be nice if someone stepped up and kept the track open. It would be a shame if they get a chance and Blew it...Some day I wish the track could get it's butt out of a SLing

Maybe if there was a big time former racer with some Cup ownership expertise who used to race at Wall out there and was into investing in short track racing. A guy like that could save the day and become a local hero
