MERKEL - June R., of Ft. Salonga NY suddenly on October 9, 2010. Beloved wife of John G. (Jack) Merkel. Loving mother of Todd (& Anna) and Scott (& Sheri). Dear sister of Bill Stuart. Cherished granny of Gregory. June was a retired elementary school teacher for the Kings Park Central School District. A memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday from 7-9pm at the Butler-Hughes Funeral Home, Inc. 69 Indian Head Rd., Kings Park NY. A cremation was held privately.
