Speaking of this Saturday and the Susky Enduro....The big car enduro follows the rule specifications of their Xtreme Stock Cars, so a regular enduro car usually has not achieved much success in the race. I remember a few years ago, the Big D. Roadrunners were competing in this race, did very well, but ran out of fuel at least twice (That was when the race was 200-laps). It's still a lot of fun to watch, and its old school enduro racing, I believe that you still must bring your own scorer. I might go catch the Susky enduro tomorrow.

They recently added a small car race which is for the 4 and 6 cylinders, following the rule specifications of their Road Warrior class which is very close to the BDR 4 Cylinder class. As a matter of fact, Chris Holland, a Big D. regular, was the Susky track champion this year, so if you are a NEETS four cylinder racer you may want to check the website www.sspracing.net for rules, and attend this race.

They are also having classic car and mini van events. I was at last week's Candy Bowl and the Mini Van feature was incredible! Maybe I will see some of you tomorrow, that's if I decide to attend. My Miami Hurricanes are playing Maryland at 12PM tomorrow! lol

I hope to prove you wrong Gary. :) I am taking my regular enduro car to Susky tomorrow. I don't expect to be a front runner, but I think I can be competitive with a handful of cars.

The v8 cars will outclass a NEETS car or BD car But having raced at Susky for 3 years in the Roadrunner class you will enjoy racing there. Hey and it is another track to add to your list of tracks raced on. i think 23 tracks for me. Linsey and I am attending to watch Rob Pyle race 4 cyl enduro. phil

It was a poor showing for us in ny state!! Unfortunitaly my team car got in a tangle and pushed me up to the wall and caused a flip the 51r was upside down on the back stretch. We rolled it back over but it wouldn't fire back up and the rule up there is no pitting if you pit you are done. What a poor rule cuz it started in the pits and we cleaned up the small amount of fuel that came out but could not continue do to the rules. I think it would have been good for the fans to see us back on the track but rules are rules and thats how they roll up there lol

yes phil light is gone. pit entry was 35.oo car entry was 40.00 they had 77 cars and i think about 30 cars finished the race a chevy cav won all and all it was jam packed with action we had roll overs a large fire that streched from the front strech to turn two when a dead car was hit and the tank erupted it was the roughest enduro i have ever been in not sure if it was the 10000 to win or if these guys beat and bang each other all the time but with a no pitting rule this is how they take out the comp but i would do it again we had a blast

A congrats to the GV and BDR drivers that ran the Turkey 200 at Susky. In the big cars it was easy to tell the difference between and Extreme car and an Enduro car. But Brad and Shon held their own and finished 6th and 7th.

Rob Pyle had a good run in the 4 Cylinders, coming home fourth.

The nice thing about these races it they both proved that you can beat the faster cars, especially when they go "poof"...

I was playing with a new camera from the grand stands. I have posted a few shots at www.fastfotos.zenfolio.com
