when u look at the stands on sunday u can kinda understand why they're trying something new. i think they should have added a spec drag & 8 cylinder figure 8 enduro b4 scratching the sunday program. jmo as a spectator..

You guys act as if the 100 ft. drags are your enemy.What about the other 12 or so Sundays that no events are scheduled?

I actually think this will be good for the enduros sat night exposure and good for the track for trying something new ( there is a lot of drag cars on LI)
personally i like the idea as long as they make sure the enduro drivers arent pounding down drinks before there race at the end of the night

Only 5 enduros beacause of a 100' drag???? Its pathetic that these stands arent packed every weekend. Does anybody realize how many people dont even know Riverhead Raceway exists. Where is the marketing??? When do I ever see an advertisment. I could double the business Riverhead raceway sees with basic common sense and advertizing. 100' drag????? Its an EFFIN circle track. Whats the point?? On one of the 4cyl enduros I brought down 47 people.40 of them never knew it existed. Too many people dont know it exists. There is so much room for improvement there. I guess I wil have to change the gears on my drag tuck.

Agreed, there is little to no advertising especially in Nassau. I've always thought that Riverhead and the Islanders should cross advertise with each other since their seasons don't really overlap, it would be a great chance to reach a new audience.
