View Full Version : WYSP’s Danny Bonaduce To Greet Fans at Motorsports 2011

OAKS, PA December 27, 2010 . . .. The popular host of morning drive time radio on WYSP (94.1 FM, Philadelphia) Bonaduce will be making an appearance at the Motorsports 2011 Presented by SEF Race Car and Trade Show. The former child actor who gained fame as a member of TV’s Partridge Family will be greeting fans and signing autographs in the SEF Small Engines Fuel display (Booth No. 104) from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, January 22nd.
Bonaduce returned to Philadelphia over two years ago to continue a radio career that started here. His unique experiences along the rollercoaster ride that is Hollywood have brought a fresh perspective to Philadelphia radio. As he says, he’s made every mistake in life, so who better to give you advice each morning.
Thousands are expected to fill the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, PA when the show covers all available space from 2 p.m. Friday, January 21st until 4 p.m. Sunday, January 23.
Bonaduce has spent a lifetime in show business. His radio career began in Philadelphia and brought him to Chicago, Detroit, New York and Los Angeles. Bonaduce starred in the series The Partridge Family, and his other television credits include Eight is Enough, That 70’s Show, The Drew Carey Show, as well as his self-produced and critically acclaimed reality series, Breaking Bonaduce, the game show, I Know My Kid’s A Star, Hulk Hogan’s Celebrity Championship Wrestling and he regularly tapes interviews for TruTV’s The Smoking Gun Presents: World’s Dumbest.
Bonaduce joins an impressive list of celebrities appearing at the three day show that offers just about everything imaginable in motorsports including more than 250 racing vehicles on display. Former NASCAR Sprint Cup champion and now ESPN broadcaster Rusty Wallace will be there as will NASCAR Hall of Famer David Pearson, Nationwide racer and SPEED-TV personality Kenny Wallace, drag racing legend John Force, Hall of Fame sprint car racers Rick Ferkel and Shane Carson, along with a long list of regional and local racing stars.
Much of the show is dedicated to the hardcore racers with many vendors catering to the needs of racers having display areas at the show along with many speedways.
Free industry seminars will cover a variety of subjects. The complete schedule will be released shortly.
The show, offering something for everyone, is now in its 26th year. Admission is $12 for adults, $5 for youngsters 6 through 12 and under six are admitted FREE. There is ample free parking.
Metal Fab, a major supplier to local short track racers, will host the special Family Day (Sunday, January 23) with admission being just $10 for adults and all children admitted free. This is the second year that the Pennington, NJ speed equipment business has hosted Family Day.
