The year in review thru the lens of Cliff Moon

I wish everyone a Happy New Year and hope these photos bring back memories of the past year in racing.
I covered over 50 events as a staff photographer for Area Auto Racing News in 2010. The racing year started with Speedweek in February at New Smyrna and Daytona and ended in October at Orange County Speedway in New York. In between, I had the opportunity to visit Thompson Speedway weekly, Stafford Speedway, Waterford Speedbowl, New Hampshire Motor Speedway, Chicagoland Speedway for Indy Car racing, Manadnock for the return of the tour, Lee USA and a few other events
Modifieds are my focus along with local racing. I also shot NASCAR Cup, truck, and Nationwide events at Daytona and New Hampshire. The Indy Car event at Chicagoland Speedway featured the best racing (other than Modifieds) of the year. Wheel to Wheel tree wide racing at over 200 MPH. This series has great potential.
The Whelen Modified Tour events continue to be my choice for the best racing division.
